Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen may be the most famous and richest twins in the universe despite the fact that they are below thirty years. The two girls started their careers at a tender age of six months by playing the role of ‘Michelle’ on the TV show known as Full House. They continued acting for some time and left acting to join the fashion industry where they formed their own fashion line known as The Row. The two are fraternal twins despite the fact that they look identical.
Cameron and Tyler Winkle
The two brothers are well known for being the minds that would inspire Mark Zuckerberg to create Facebook. They created the site Harvard Connection which was eventually renamed ConnectU. Zuckerberg was accused of stealing ideas from the site to create Facebook. The duo is also known for becoming Bitcoin billionaires after investing $11 million in the venture 4 years ago. The brothers are not only gifted in innovative ideas but also in sports as they participated in the men’s pair rowing event at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China.
Ronald ‘Ronnie’ and Reginald ‘Reggie’ Kray
They may not be as famous or good as the other names on this list, but The Krays are certainly a duo worth remembering even if it is for an unpleasant reason. Ronnie and Reggie lived in London’s East End and led a life of violence including torture, assault, murder and robbery during the 1950s and 60s. Despite living a life full of crime, the two were popular club owners and used to spend their time socializing with stars like Judy Garland. The two were later arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment in 1968.
Kin Narita and Gin Kanie
They were known as ‘the world’s oldest twins’ and were nicknamed ‘Kinsan Ginsan.’ The two women lived to around 107 years and were beloved in Japan before their deaths in the early 2000s. They even released a rap album in 1992 when they turned 100. The album became a hit in Japan and was known as Gin Chan and Kin Chan. Their names, when translated from Japan to English literally means gold and silver. The twins later became a symbol of life longevity in Japan.
The Harp Twins
Kennerly Kitt and Camille are popularly known as The Harp Twins and are famous for various YouTube videos where they provide covers to popular hits like Led Zeppelin’s Stairway to Heaven. The two have a bachelor’s degree in harp performance from Wheaton College Conservatory of Music. The two graduated with the highest honors. So far the twins have released over 80 singles and four albums. They have also appeared in several films and have third-degree black belts in taekwondo.
Ronde and Tiki Barber
The twins started playing football in high school and finally went pro. The two played in the National Football League, Tiki played for New York Giants while Ronde played for Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The two were signed the same year and have played several games against each other. Ronde stayed in the NFL for a longer time as compared to his brother and after retirement, they became sports correspondents.
